We feel responsible for future generations. We are committed to careful use of natural resources. We strive to comply with legislative requirements and applicable regulations. We seek to continuously improve our environmental performance, minimizing the impact of our home.
We have special containers for the separate collection of paper, glass, organic waste, plastic, and non-recyclable waste.
Guests are made aware of the importance of proper practices, so that waste can be sent for disposal or recycling. In addition, in the tourist information, they can consult the list of public transport options to travel sustainably, as much as possible.
The indoor and outdoor lighting is energy-saving. Most of the materials used for the furnishings are natural or sustainable. To minimize plastic, personal care products are kept in glass bottles.
The grass is cut using the “mulching” method. The grass is reduced to fine particles that are distributed over the soil, providing valuable substances that nourish the lawn, eliminating the need for chemical fertilizers. They also contain water and create a moist layer, reducing the need for irrigation. Mulching improves the soil and the root zone, helping to prevent drying out.
We use pruning waste to make new cuttings. Or we turn them into mulch to maintain adequate moisture and protect the plants in the flowerbeds from the cold.
Guests can pick bunches of fragrant sage and plant them in their own homes to promote the well-being of bees and hummingbirds.
Our passion for DIY stimulates our creativity to give new life to salvaged or attic materials. Some examples are the labyrinth made with tiles and the roof tiles of the flowerbeds, both recovered from the renovation of the family home.
